From the summit, the mountain drops nearly 6.5 kilometers (about 4 miles) straight down to the adjacent Indus Gorge, creating a breathtaking and stark contrast between towering heights and deep valleys.
Fairy Meadows, aptly named by German climbers as "Fairy Tale Meadows," is a serene and lush grassland located in the Diamer District of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Locally known as “Joo,” this breathtaking spot serves as one of the primary base camp sites for those attempting to summit the Rakhiot face of Nanga Parbat. At an elevation of approximately 3,300 meters (10,827 feet), it provides trekkers with a stunning panoramic view of Nanga Parbat’s towering peaks and the surrounding mountainous terrain.
In 1995, the Government of Pakistan recognized the exceptional beauty and ecological significance of Fairy Meadows by declaring it a National Park, preserving its pristine environment for future generations to enjoy.

Drive to Raikot Bridge - Tato Village and Trek to Fairy Meadows
Start your adventure with a scenic drive to Raikot Bridge, where you will cross the mighty Indus River and head towards Tato Village. From here, embark on an unforgettable trek to Fairy Meadows, a picturesque spot renowned for its breathtaking views of Nanga Parbat, the ninth-highest mountain.

Trek to Nanga Parbat Base Camp (4200m), Back to Beyal Camp
After an early breakfast, set off on a challenging yet rewarding trek to Nanga Parbat Base Camp. Situated at 4,200 meters, the base camp offers stunning close-up views of the iconic Nanga Parbat, also known as the "Killer Mountain."
Day 05

Excursion to Jaliper Peak Base Camp, Back to Fairy Meadow
Today’s adventure takes you on an excursion to the base camp of Jaliper Peak, located at the foot of the towering peaks in the region. After exploring the rugged beauty of the area, return to Fairy Meadows for an overnight stay.
Day 06

Trek Down to Tato Village, Drive to KKH - Astore - Tarishing
Descend from Fairy Meadows to Tato Village, where your vehicle awaits to take you along the Karakoram Highway (KKH) through Astore. The journey continues to the village of Tarishing, the gateway to the next phase of the trek. Settle in for the night in this remote village.
Day 07

Tarishing to Herrligkoffer Base Camp (3550m) in 5-6 Hours (10KM)
Embark on a steady trek to Herrligkoffer Base Camp, located at 3,550 meters. The 10 km trek is a scenic route, passing through lush valleys and craggy mountain passes. Upon reaching the base camp, you’ll be rewarded with incredible views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers.
Day 08

Herrligkoffer Base Camp to Latobah (3530m) in 3-4 Hours (3KM)
Enjoy a short but picturesque trek from Herrligkoffer Base Camp to Latobah, a village located at 3,530 meters. This 3 km trek takes you through dramatic landscapes with sweeping vistas of glaciers, rugged peaks, and alpine meadows.
Day 09

Latobah to Mazeno Base Camp (4050m) in 4-5 Hours (10KM)
Prepare for a day of steady trekking as you ascend from Latobah to Mazeno Base Camp at an altitude of 4,050 meters. This 10 km journey takes you through rocky terrain, alpine forests, and meadows as you gradually approach the rugged grandeur of the surrounding peaks.
Day 10

Trek Back to Herrligkoffer Base Camp, Overnight in Tents
Today, retrace your steps as you trek back to Herrligkoffer Base Camp. The 10 km journey back is as scenic as the initial trek, offering new perspectives of the mountains and glaciers. Once at the base camp, set up camp and enjoy a well-deserved rest under the clear skies.
Day 11

Trek Back to Tarishing, Overnight in Tents
Continue your descent back towards Tarishing, taking in the changing scenery as you return along the same path. The trek takes you through alpine landscapes, past glaciers, and over rocky ridges. Once back in Tarishing, settle in for an overnight stay in tents, reflecting on the incredible journey.
Day 12

Drive Back to Chilas, Overnight at Hotel
After several days of trekking, enjoy a comfortable drive back to Chilas, a town situated along the Karakoram Highway. Check into a local hotel for a relaxing night, where you can unwind and refresh after your trek. Take in the surrounding views of the Karakoram Range, and enjoy the calm atmosphere
Day 13

Drive to Islamabad (11-Hours), Overnight at Hotel
Today, embark on an 11-hour drive back to Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan. Along the way, enjoy sweeping views of the Karakoram and Himalayan mountain ranges as you travel through lush valleys, winding roads, and picturesque landscapes. Upon arrival in Islamabad, check into your hotel.
Day 14

Transfer to Islamabad Airport for International Flight
